About The Saints

The Lakeland Saints are a Christian based youth organization. Our mission is to provide social, recreational and educational programs to its members and the residents of the State of Florida. We also hope to achieve community pride and cohesiveness and decrease prevalent problems in the community through the youth football program.

The Saints program ages range from 4 years to 14 years of age. All boys and girls within this age group is welcome. We have fantastic parents and coaches who strive to instill in each and every youth the skills needed to guide them in not only sports but life as well.

Academics are very high on the Saints requirments to participate. Every participant must maintain a passing grade in their respective classes at school. Parents are encouraged to participate with the organization as there are many areas to be involved with the team.

Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

affect’s the entire team

Games are played against other MFFC teams. We will have 5 home games and 5 away games.

We also play in post season games (play offs) This year we have an opportunity to participate in the first youth National Championship in Atlanta Ga.

Coaches and Board members are volunteers. No one is a salaried employee.

All of our head Coaches and board members are very experienced and certified by national sports certification organizations.

No experience is necessary for players or cheerleaders at any age. We do not hold tryout, or “cut” players from our teams.

We have a minimum play rule for football, and we try to exceed that number. All we ask is for determination, and a willing and respectful attitude.

Parents are required to volunteer 4 hours per season for their child(ren) team. Or they may opt out by a $40 dollar donation to the team.

Please keep in mind this is all about the kids having fun and making the sport and season an enjoyable one that they will remember.
