All Lakeland Saints Cheerleaders and Football players and their familes are invite to the Annual Saints Banquet. This is going to be a good time had by all. We will be honoring the young women and men that participated in the program this year.
The banquet will be held at Pathway Church at 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2008. The banquet is to honor the members of the teams and everyone involved. Food will be provided free to all cheerleaders and football players. Adults will be $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door. All non team children 12 and under $3.00, this will include entry to banquet cermonies and food. You may purchase your tickets prior the banquet by calling us at 863 670-7840 or 863-647-1325 or you can also email to tfaison@pediatrichc.com or coachronsaints@aol.com for information on the banquet.
Everyone will have a fantastic time while at the same time honoring our young women and men for the great job they did this season. SEE YOU THERE!

Mighty Mites win it all!!! The Saints Mighty Mites win and go UNDEFEATED. Today was a clash of Titans in the Mighty Mite division. The Undefeated Saints against the Poinciana Predators. From the Kick off you knew this was going to be a barn burner. Each team traded field position during the first quarter. The Predators tried to control the ball. At half the score was 0-0 another tough game. The Saints open up the scoring in the third quarter with a touchdown run that was called back, with a holding call. Three plays later the Saints punch it in and score but the extra point failed. Saints 6 Predators 0.
Saints kick off and the Predators get the ball around the 45 yard line. After an exchange of possession’s the Predators score on a long run and tie the score. The extra point failed Saints 6 Predators 6. Saints score on their first possession in the fourth quarter. Extra point no good. Saints 12 Predators 6. Then the Predators came roaring back and scored with only 3:29 remaining. Predators kick extra point and lead the game by a score of 14-12.
With time running out the Saints down by 2 they must drive the ball in. Starting deep in their own territory they began the drive of the season. The fans on both sides came alive-this is what it all boiled down to. Which team could dig the deepest and last the longest. After driving the ball 78 yards the Saints finally punch it in the end zone with 31 seconds left. Extra point is no good. Saints regain the lead Saints 18-14. The Predators gave it four last shots. As their quarterback dropped back and threw deep passes that were knocked down by a stout Saint defense. Finally time expired and the Saints Mighty Mites were the Super Bowl Champions!!! Saints 18 Predators 14. Wow what a game the final three minutes were heart stopping at times.
Once again hats off to both teams as both teams played to their limit until the final buzzer of the game. Congratulations to all of the Mighty Mite players on a UNDEFEATED season, way to go guys!!!Congratulations to Head coach Ernest and his assistant coaches to a fantastic season. We love you guys and thanks for the memories. See you at the banquet

Today the Saints Midgets were Super. Ladies and gentlemen if you were not at Dennison Stadium in Winter haven you missed It! The Saints Midgets played a very good Osceola Panther team. You knew it was going to be a tough game from the very first kick off. Each team traded possession’s in the first half with neither team finding the end zone. With the score tied 0-0 at the half it just set the stage for the second half.
The Saints took the ball down and scored a touchdown to start the scoring off in the second half. Then the Panthers scored and tied the game up. The Panthers then scored on an extra point and led the Saints 7-6. With time running out in fourth quarter with 1:21 to play and fourth and long the Saints went for the first down while deep in their own territory but came up short and the Panthers took over deep in the Saints side of the field. The Panthers then tacked on a score to end the game. Final score Panthers 13 Saints 6.
Both teams played their hearts out today, and it showed as the quality of football was excellent by both teams. Panthers our hats are off to you today, as you beat a REALLY TOUGH SAINTS MIDGET TEAM. Thanks to the Midget players as they played awesome all season and today. A special thanks to Head coach Gerald and all of the Midget assistant coaches, as you gentlemen did a fantastic job this season. We love our Saints Players and Coaches the best in the league.
